Back when I (very mistakenly,) thought you were a female, didn't you post anohter pic. of Diana Rigg? If I got that right I'll highly impress myself because I've only been on 2400 blogs in the past 6 weeks.

Jannie,

It has nothing to do with looks. Both are very pretty. However, one was Mrs. Peel, and the other a faint shadow.

And, yes I did post another photo when I bought the Mrs. Peel Avengers box set.

I've been watching some of them when nothing else of consequence is on TV.

It looks like the new Emma Peel was designed by the same weirdos that dreamt up the stunningly similar Batman costumes in the recent films.

I've never really seen the appeal of Uma - tbh she looks like she could do with a decent meal and a course of vitamins to drag back from the doors of death.

Notice that the original Mrs Peel demonstrates her femininity in a more subtle and decorous manner by wielding a golden gun, with middle finger balancing - the sign of a true lady. Technically, if she did shoot you then you'd probably feel obliged to say "thank you" before expiring gracefully in the corner.
