. . . from a casual observer.

Caroline Kennedy wants to take Hillary Clinton's place in the U.S. Senate. I hope she realizes what she's getting into. Mrs. Clinton leaves a pretty big seat to fill. (Come on . . . you know I had to. Really.)

Jannie,

We already have too many celebrities in government. It's getting to the point that your politics don't matter. What really matters is how famous you are, or how famous your daddy or mommy was.

We need to make our leaders earn their jobs rather than annointing them based on their popularity.

What is this anyhow . . . high school?

Yep, her thigness became a U.S. Senator on the basis of being first lady and little else - except hiding bodies . . .

By the way, with Caroline Kennedy and Joe Biden's kid lined up, we're about to change the name of the Senate to The House of Lords
