This little item . . .

. . . reminded me of a poet in the family, Alex Sykie, the nom de plume of the new son-in-law.

Heh heh.

The two best almost-Haiku I've written so far are:

----------------
The ducks have guns now,
they are sharp-shooting back.
You are on their list.
----------------
This is ninja mouse,
coming to kill you because
you smell so cheesy.
----------------
From a technical point of view they're both 'almost-Haiku' as they do not mention a Season - unless you stretch the point and pretend the last one uses "cheesy seasoning"...groan...

Not sure what my fascination with murdering wildlife is all about. Hmmm.

Re: Ducks

Is 5/6/5 still Haiku?

Oh, and someone should tell the T-shirt guy that the plural of haiku is haiku.

Oops.

5/6/5 is the new 5/7/5 seasonally adjusted post-credit crunch. :-)

Feel free to insert "all" at an appropriate position in the line.

Now, let me just go and look up that definition of ornery again...
